Where: Collegio Carlo Alberto, Piazza Arbarello 8, Turin (Italy)
The workshop is organised by Youth employment partnerSHIP: evaluation studies in Spain, Hungary, Italy and Poland, jointly with Young in, Old out. Demography and Labor Policy, PROWEDEC Productivity, welfare and decentralized bargaining and LABORatorio Riccardo Revelli, Center for Employment Studies.
The capacity building workshop is aimed at the discussion and diffusion of counterfactual evaluation methods in labour economics and the discussion of the results and policy implication drawn from most recent studies.
In order to promote the inclusion of younger scholars into the debate, the workshop will host a poster exhibition of works, spanning from opening to closure, with a dedicated session during the lunch break on Friday 14th. A 500 Euro prize in the name of Riccardo Revelli – a pioneer in the use of administrative data for labour market analysis, who passed away 20 years ago – will be awarded by Laboratorio Revelli to the best poster presented by a young researcher (under 35). The winner will be announced during the social dinner.
