Temporary employment dropped by 21.7% in second quarter 2020 in Italy, compared to the same period of 2019. The larger incidence of temporary contracts among young workers contributes to explain their sharp employment decrease. #COVID-19 #YEPartnership #EEANorwayGrants

During the first months of the #COVID-19 pandemic employment decreased for all age groups, but young workers were the most affected. For those aged 15-29, the drop began in the first quarter 2020 and worsened in the second quarter. #YEPartnership #EEANorwayGrants
