Claudia Villosio PI

Claudia Villosio – Principal Investigator

Claudia Villosio is research manager at Collegio Carlo Alberto, and research associate of FIERI (Forum for International and European Research on Immmigration). She holds a university degree in Economics from the University of Turin and a master degree in Economics from Coripe Piemonte. She has worked for about 20 years on labour economics related projects, dealing especially with labour migration and assimilation, economics of ageing and gender studies. She participated to different national and international research projects, also as project co-ordinator, funded, among others, by the European Commission (H2020, Erasmus+, FP7, DG EMPL, …), by EUROFOUND, by EIGE and by the Italian Ministry of Labour and Welfare Policies.

Roberto Quaranta R

Roberto Quaranta – Researcher

Roberto Quaranta is statistical officer at Collegio Carlo Alberto. He graduated in Political Science at the University of Turin in 2000 with a dissertation on the bootstrapping methods for statistical inference. He has been manager of the WHIP (Work Histories Italian Panel) database and he is an expert in the treatment of survey and administrative databases. His main research activities deal with statistical analysis in the field of workers and jobs mobility, wage dynamics and inequality, and non standard labour contracts.

Francesco Trentini – Researcher

Francesco Trentini is researcher in the Youth Employment PartnerSHIP project. He obtained the PhD from University of Turin with a dissertation on the labour market entrance of young generations. Previously he studied Economics and Social Sciences at University “L. Bocconi” in Milan and attended the Master in Economics and Complexity at the Collegio Carlo Alberto in Turin.

Karolina Bolesta – Intern (September 2021 – March 2022)

Karolina Bolesta is a PhD candidate in Quantitative Economics at the Warsaw School of Economics. She studied Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information System at the Warsaw School of Economics, where she obtained the MA with distinction, and the Bachelor of Arts in Finance, Accounting and Insurance (with distinction) at the University of Warsaw.

The Youth employment partnerSHIP – evaluation studies in Spain, Hungary, Italy and Poland project benefits from 1,8 million € grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. The Fund supports international project initiatives that promote sustainable and quality youth employment in Europe.
